Demonstration of industry leadership

In June 2023, Workforce Singapore announced the Job Transformation Map, and Jobs-Skills Integrator for the Retail (JSIT-R) sector, where NTUC LearningHub is the key training partner to bridge the gap in skills aggregation. We then launched the NTUC LearningHub Retail Institute and signed a Memoranda of Understanding with seven leading organisations in Singapore’s retail sector to develop a progressive Career Development Plan, partnering with JSIT-R to equip retail workers with future-ready skills to take on redesigned and emerging jobs.
In July 2023, to support Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative, NTUC LearningHub partnered with ServiceNow, a leading global digital workflow company to offer digital skills to over 1,000 Singaporeans by 2024, kickstarting with the Ci􀆟zen Development course to train in low-code development. By acquiring transferrable tech-lite skills, workers can value-add at the workplace, and prosper in their careers across job roles and industries.

Provision of innovative product & service offerings

To inculcate a continuous learning culture early, NTUC LearningHub partnered with the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Home Affairs to launch the SkillsFuture@NS Learning eXperience Platform (SF@NS LXP) in September 2022, to support full-time national servicemen (NSFs) in their post-National Service (NS) transition to pursue employment or further studies.
All existing and future NSFs will be provided with an account to access the SF@NS LXP from 1 November 2022. NSFs can activate their account at any time during their full-time NS, and the account will be valid for two years from the date of activation. Through SF@NS LXP, NSFs will be given unlimited access to over 75,000 online courses as well as personalised learning experience with individualised course recommendations.
