NTUC LearningHub

Demonstration of industry leadership

To ensure NTUC LearningHub is at the forefront of Continuing Education and Training, we have been developing our ‘Think Tank’ capabilities through our white paper and industry insights research reports.

Surveying both employers and employees, we continuously scan the horizon to determine emerging trends in industries such as Agritech, Workflow Automation, and Machine Learning and Cloud Computing.

We have also identified top in-demand skills coveted by employers across industries through our New Normal of Sector Skills Report 2020, and Employer Skills Report 2021. Through insights gathered, we map out our course offerings to jobs, ensuring that workers are well-equipped with employer-coveted skills to boost their employability. For companies, we help to access the skills gaps in their workforce and recommend suitable courses that will allow them to upskill and future-proof their business.

Provision of innovative product & service offering

To ensure learning did not stop during the circuit breaker in 2020, NTUC LearningHub quickly transitioned most of our in-person classes into Virtual Live Classes (VLCs). To provide the most effective learning experience, over 600 trainers were trained to be VLC-ready. We also launched the LHUB GO Infinity platform. As Singapore’s largest subscription-based online learning platform, users have access to over 75,000 on-demand bite-sized online courses. Our alliance of world-class online content partners enables learners to build up their micro-credentials by learning anytime and anywhere.

Our virtual roadshow also replaced physical ones so that workers can continue to find out more about our courses in the safety of their own homes. We continued to support workers through Virtual Live Assistance on our website, where keen learners can book online appointments for our consultants to help them with their upskilling needs in the safety of their own home.
