Singapore Polytechnic (SP) has been training and developing the local workforce since 1954. SP Professional & Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy provides the focal point for Continuing Education and Training (CET) as SP continues to provide new and effective pathways for learners of all ages to develop their skills and knowledge so as to be employable in an ever-changing workplace. PACE Academy offers formalised qualification programmes in more than 40 Part-Time Diplomas and Post-Diplomas in addition to a wide range of short industry-relevant courses to meet the training needs of individuals and corporations.

PACE Academy courses are relevant to the industry by aligning to the national Skill Frameworks (SFw) and Industry Transformation Maps (ITM). The courses are also designed with the adult learner in mind by applying the appropriate andragogy and committing the best training resources.

Besides aligning our programmes to the national SFw and ITM, we also offer a list of short and modular industry-relevant training programmes in eight essential emerging skills areas.

  • SP is equipped with industry-relevant facilities which gives learners valuable hands-on experience. In addition, we recognise that every organisation is unique and requires specific needs, our subject matter experts will assess the organisation training needs and design a roadmap to develop the required capabilities to help achieve organisational goals.
    Provision of innovative product & service offerings

    SP PACE Academy stays abreast of industry needs by aligning programmes to the national Skills Frameworks and Industry Transformation Maps. On top of that, the launch of Advance Manufacturing ecosystem during the Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific event further signifies SP PACE Academy’s commitment to provide solutions to organisations in the manufacturing sector.
    To attest to this commitment, collaboration with companies such as Bosch Rexroth will see the first of its kind in the region through the Bosch Rexroth Regional Training Centre (BRRTC) being established in Singapore, Jurong Innovation District. This will play a crucial role in enabling Advanced Manufacturing companies in Singapore to meet the latest technological training and talent needs.
    SP PACE Academy also provides services for organisations to experiment, conceptualise and implement Industry 4.0 solutions. Some of our notable examples include platform specialising in Additive Manufacturing via applied materials innovation and development for the Marine and Offshore sector.
